Reworking of Hawk’s Point sett. Ancient mine operated from 1851 to 1870, yielding 670 tons of copper, 1 ton of ochre, and some tin during its active period. The primary workings were situated at Carrack Gladden Point, where visitors can observe fairly cavernous levels and tunnels opening out onto the beach. Additionally, several other level portals can be found at the top of the cliff, and another adit entrance lies further south of Hawk’s Point.
