Windmill End Pumping Station (also known as Cobb’s Engine House after the farmer of the land where it was built) remains at SO 9541 8833, as a listed building. It has been suggested that the original Newcomen engine was removed to the USA for display in 1930. The Henry Ford Museum records don’t make it clear if it was this specific engine, just that an engine from the Windmill End Collieries was purchased.
