  • Old deep adit – SN 6665 8375 (west end of property).
  • Pryse’s cross cut adit – SN 671 839.
  • Old shallow adit – SN 669 839.

Between 1869 and 1874, John Taylor & Sons’ Vaughan Mines Company carried out several mining attempts at Fron Feirig, a farm on the north slopes of the Nant Silo valley west of Penbont Rhydybeddau. They reopened and extended old adits in search of the Bronfloyd lode, explored shafts east of the farm on both Mr. Jones’s and Sir Pryse’s land, and drove the “Pryse’s cross cut” adit, but despite occasional traces of lead and copper, no significant ore was found and all work was eventually abandoned.
