The mine consists of three levels, with the provided map reference being for the Low Level. Initially owned by the Beaumonts and later by the Vielle Montagne Zinc Co., the mine was reopened in the 1970s by Mr. E. Richardson. During this time, a small gravity dressing plant was installed.
