The western section of Camborne Vean Mine, situated along the railway line west of the Camborne-Beacon road and north of the West Stray Park Mine sett, is currently built over. The mining operations were centered around a single shaft called Francis Shaft, positioned between Trevu Road and Mount Pleasant Road, approximately 250 yards south of Camborne Railway Station.
