The Stodart Vein opencut is a remarkable feature, exposing the Underset and Main Limestone layers along with overlying cherts. Originally exploited for lead ore, it was also mined for chert. Some mineralization within the cherts can be observed at the outcrop on the southeast corner of the hush, particularly towards the Martin Vein direction.
